I am back

I couldn't help but blog today. Having not blogging for a while, I'm running out of space in the crammed head o' mine to keep stuff 'in' -gotta let it out. Silent screams no mo, no mo ...

Things have changed but not for good ... The thugs are still running the country, war profiteers are raking record profits, poor black men are still fighting the rich white men's war, the imperialist bastards are still roaming around re-colonizing Iraq and the CIA agent Karzai is still the puppet in Afghanistan.

Are you better off than you were last year or the year before? If yes, then my friend you are one lucky mutha fucka .... I envy you.

Lost in translation

Strangeness surrounds me. It is quite remarkable to experience foreign language, specially when you can't understand a single word, either spoken or written. I have barely talked to anyone at the airport today. I'm stuck in Hong Kong for ten hours. There is no long or short hour. The rate of ticking of the clock does not change and yet the moment seem to be passing by oh so slowly. Relativity? Perhaps or it is more like that I'm bored outta my fuckin mind.

I've taked two showers but I'm itching like I haven't showered in days. Maybe it is the foreign soap or water. It is hard being out of your element. It is hard not being able to talk to someone at the level you are accustomed to. It sucks. It really does. Talking in sign language to the cleaning lady was an adventure in itself but nevertheless she was helpful. It doesn't matter what I asked her but the fact that she tried hard to help me matters. Bitch.

Hanging it up (well almost)

Ah! Ya too rude
Oh what a rat race
Oh what a rat race
This is the rat race
Some a lawful, some a bastard, some a jacket
Oh what a rat race, rat race
Some a gorgan, some a hooligan, some a guine-gog
In this rat race, yeah!
Rat race
I'm singing
When the cats away
The mice will play
Political voilence fill ya city
Yea-ah!
Don't involve Rasta in your say say
Rasta don't work for no C.I.A.
Rat race, rat race, rat race
When you think is peace and safety
A sudden destruction
Collective security for surety
Yeah!
Don't forget your history
Know your destiny
In the abundance of water
The fool is thirsty
Rat race, rat race, rat race
Oh it's a disgrace to see the
Human-race in a rat race, rat race
You got the horse race
You got the dog race
You got the human-race
But this is a rat race, rat race

Just so you know Mr. Marley, on my drive to rat race this morning, I shed a tear for you.

Where have all the barbers gone?

So the bitch couldn't find a decent hair dresser in the entire Disctrict of Columbia? Or is it the bitch groomer that she really needs. Come to think of that -Dubya could fill that position.

Like it never happened

I haven't blogged coz I don't have access to computer at home or work. Yeah, its hard to believe but I like it.
So my unemployed state of being lasted less than 48hrs -I'm back in the rat race and I don't mind the thought of double pay checks for two months. I just might splurge and instead of one buy two papayas tonight :)
